“Noto Satoyama Meister Supporting Committee”

In July 2008 “Noto Satoyama Meister Supporting Committee” (Meister Supporting Network) was established as an organization providing training for the Meister trainees and supporting the Meister graduates to start farming and start new businesses. This organization has 53 members including representatives of farming businesses and exceptional local farmers. Now private corporations, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and local industry related people have been encouraged to participate in the organization.
Meister trainees and graduates receive advice and training opportunities from the organization. The organization also helps them finding farmland to start farming or new businesses.
